Started at 6:02pm

In the spray booth

Fri 6:02pm - First, a quick coat of Matt White on all the sprues. This should give a good base for brush-painting the cockpit interior parts.

Clear parts masked

Fri 6:52pm - Next, the canopy clear parts were masked using Mr Masking Sol R.

Will leave these to dry aside.

Instrument panel painted

Fri 9:06pm - Brush painted the instrument panel using Humbrol 226 interior green, and AK Interactive Gen3 Rubber Black.

Seat painted

Fri 9:06pm - Brush painted the seat using Humbrol 226 interior green, AK Interactive Gen3 Rubber Black, Vallejo Model Color Red Leather and Khaki.

The grooves moulded into the seat cushion made it easy to run some diluted dark paint inside.

Cockpit

Fri 9:24pm - The cockpit floor was first painted with acrylic Flesh colour. Then a thin brushing of Humbrol clear gloss varnish on top of that.

Wood grain effect was achieved with Tamiya brown panel line accent color (enamel), and quickly spreading it lengthwise.

Instrument panel glossed

Fri 9:27pm - Humbrol clear gloss varnish brushed onto the instrument panel, to prepare for applying the decal.

Cockpit completed

Fri 9:40pm - The instrument panel decal conformed nicely to the moulded dial details. Mr Mark Softer decal softener worked a treat.

Cockpit left wall

Sat 2:37am - The left and right cockpit wall was brush painted with Interior Green.

Cockpit right wall

Sat 2:37am - The kit decal placards add a nice bit of detail.

Cockpit glued together

Sat 2:45am - Started gluing the cockpit into the fuselage halves.
